The Central Management Console (CMC) is a web-based tool that you use to perform most day-to-day administrative tasks, including user management, content management, and server management.
Any user with valid credentials for the Business Intelligence (BI) platform can log on to the CMC
and set preferences. Users who are not members of the Administrators group cannot
perform management tasks, unless they have been granted access rights for a task. There
are two ways to access the CMC—from your browser or by selecting in Windows.
